It is a smal island surounded by sand, empty inside, where several easy to explore tunnels. In winter, groups of fish take shelter in it protecting themselves from predators like tuna fish..

In winter time, these groups have practically got out this island but we can see anyway "angelotes" (foto) as well as "rayas" (foto) sleeping.

If we go deeper we will find with great stone arcs. Visibility varies.

The "Veril" crosses all along the river linking the Risco de Famara with La Graciosa. There is a point where you can see the "Pirate Anchors" on the bottom. The story tells they were left behind by pirate boats when they felt threatened by any other pirate boat. They used to cut the rope and just drop them to the bottom, so this way their escape would be faster.

A wide variety of fish and submarine plants can be seen here. Visibility uses to be very good.

This immersion is considered by advanced divers, one of the star immersions of the Marine Reserve. This is because of its depth and the constant water currents.
The bottom depth is 100 meters except for a “finger” that rises up to 27 meters. The immersion features vertical walls covered by “gerardias” (a type of choral, very rare in these waters) and orange choral, a more common type.

It is easy to find 200 or 300 kg. “atunes matreros”, “pedregales”, “petos”, as well as turtles.

Visibility can be up to 60 meters.

This place is characteristic because of the huge rocks belt eroded by currents where big and several groups of species use to gather. Even visibility is not the best because there is always some current, it's a great place to appreciate the fauna and flora. Medium Visibility.

Half mile from Alegranza, to the northeast, there is a huge rock wich Canary people calls “bajón”, it has vertical walls covered with a lot of holes with several big orange chorals inside them. You can get to see here almost any specie of fish thanks to the kind of bottom, something really amazing. There are plenty of “erizo diadema”, very common in Canary waters. Good visibility.

One of the few places in the world where we can go into diving, with snorkel, or even on board of one of our speed boats. It is a tunnel which leads us into a big "jameo". Jameo: Part of a cave which without "roof".

The moment we go out of it, following the veril to the left where normally wait a group of "bicudas". Here is very usual to see "la vieja", "sargos" and the already famous "erizo diadema". Good visibility.

Made a famous place by the fisher men of the place, who use to fish "curricán", try to catch the "petos", tuna fish and "abades" which are abundant here. We can find some currents here, this is why to do a "caribeña" (just let yourself go with the current) is advisable. In the end the boat will pick us up (something really comfortable).

Spectacular diving spot, yellow and orange "gorgonias" are abundant here, some of them up to a meter height and more than a meter width. It is perhaps one of the immersions besides "El Bajón de Alegranza" that makes us feel as if we were in Caribbean waters; visibility is a factor that has a lot to do with the current but uses to be acceptable.

The light effect inside the caverns (a lot in these waters) gave birth to this name where life wealth is its main feature. Here we can see the Canarian lobster, "corvinas negras", "meros", "abades", "sargos", "catalufas", "congrios", "morenas", etc.
Without current or swell, visibility uses to be very good.

This Veril is found at a very low depth. We can see in it "viejas", "sargos", etc.. but octopuss are abundant. Visibility uses to be pretty good and the current is very good. Currents does not affect immersion.

In this immersion we can see different types of "cardúmenes". Visibility is very good and it's an ideal place for beginners or photography lovers.
